Fairown, a green fintech, helps merchants boost recurring revenue and customer loyalty by offering products-as-a-service. Consumers get new products at the end of the subscription period, while the old items are recycled or refurbished for resale, promoting a circular economy and reducing waste.

In 2022, Maine partnered with Fairown to enhance its market presence in response to growing consumer preference for subscription solutions over one-time purchases.

Objectives

To help Fairown establish its profile among media and a broader tech audience, explain the value proposition of its novel business model, and support its entry into the Polish and Lithuanian markets.

Our solution and results

Adopted a targeted, relationship-driven approach to introduce Fairown to VC funds, industry leaders and key journalists from major publications, industry leaders and VC funds, including on-site briefings at Web Summit, including Reuters, The Times, TechCrunch.

Augmented these briefings with a thought leadership programme, providing commentary on the emergence of products as a service and its role in the circular economy in Reuters Sustainable Switch and The Fintech Times.

Supported Fairown's expansion into Polish and Lithuanian markets, securing broad coverage in the specialist fintech and business press, such as Finextra and The Paypers.

Significantly improved Fairown’s digital footprint, securing over 20 media clippings that highlighted the business model’s benefits to prospective clients and partners, including an in-depth feature in Fintech Nexus.
